    Default igo primo 9.6.13.405512 voice problem

    installed igo primo 9.6.13.405512 and all works fine with the exception of voice directions, it will reduce the radio sound then give direction and return to set sound but only does it 2 or 3 times then all goes mute, radio and gps until the unit is turned off and restarted. Im sure it must be something in the system.txt or system.ini but cant seems to solve it, any help would be very welcome . here are copies of present settings

    Oh. It is not a problem with concrete iGO
    It is problem within relation HeadUnit - iGO. Of course, you can try with some other version, or try with some other package. It is always advisable to try with clean package and minimal content.
    To avoid speculation, and if you really want help, make an effort and try to give you more information about the device itself, about the package you use, the add-ons, etc.
    sys files or crash txt files dos not help at all.
    There are several forum discussions on this topic, try to use a search

    Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

    thanks to all for your help, problem fixed with the following additions to sys.txt
    [debug]
    reserve_memory=2097152
    max_memory=440000000

    [tts]
    announce_exit_directions=1

    not sure if the tts change was part of the solution but left it in as it all works now

    thanks again to all happy bunny

    Your solution points to a memory problem. Where did you find the exact numbers for your device to use in sys.txt?
