I'm 100% positive that we can get this working if you are really interested. At first, just try renaming the save directory to "save.old" - then if everything works, we can copy your history and favorites back from the "save.old" directory later...

Ok - Here's the latest update:

I installed Boki's clean version - All works but destination screen remains even with sys.txt edit

I installed the 405512 primo exe file and deleted the save folder as recommended by jtrosky- program runs fine but destination screen remains

I then installed 1frankas version - program works fine and no destination screen - but this was using the DimiKa skin as saved on his profile. As soon as I reverted to the default skin the destination screen with the power button came back.

My conclusion is - its got something to do with the skins. If you use the default day & night skin on Primo, you always get the 'is this your destination' question and when you press yes the itinerary pops up with the big turn off button. Using the decent skin or DimiKa skins enables the arrivals menu to disable that screen. this is the same on all the versions of Primo everyone's suggested.

Try using the default skin and see if the same happens to you?

You can definitely remove the destination screen with the default skin - I tested it the other day. I can't explain why it's not working for you though... :-)

If you want, I can package up my exact install and (minus content) and you can try it. This way you're using my .exe, my data.zip, etc. Just with your content... It shouldn't be this hard. I know others have successfully used that sys.txt entry successfully....

What do you mean by "arrivals" menu? I've never seen that with the decent skin.

We also have to remember that there are UX files at play too - maybe they are somehow involved....

The arrivals menu shows up in the extras menu if you use the dimika skin :-)

I'll take you up on your offer of packaging up your exact install minus the maps...I'll give that a bash and see if that works...

I have no idea why the default skin works for you and not me :-( but I'll try your version

Yes, but did he remove his existing UX files when he tested that version (or any version). Same with a ui_igo9 directory - that is another directory that can impact things.

We're not sure if he's removing everything and then testing the other versions or just "overwriting" files with the test versions...

Lots of variables involved. :-)
