True. But why would he NOT do a clean installed. It's common sense. Anyway, the code for that large power button is in data.zip->route.ui, just comment it out.

Glad to hear that you are testing correctly though. I'll zip up my current install and post a link - now I'm really curious (will drive me crazy until we figure this out!).

I posted a fix for it already, why don't you see if it works.Quote:

Ahh - I think I see what the cause is! I think you may also need "automotive=1" under the [interface] section of sys.txt.... That would make sense. So maybe you need automotive=1 as well as remove_reached_destination=1....

That will remove the entire screen, which contained other useful functions. If that is what he wants, go for it.
From his original post, the problem was the large power off button which gets accidentally pressed. The correct solution is to confirm before powering off, which I don't have time to do; so a quick hacked was just remove the power button only.
BTW, remove_reached_destination is irrelevant for this case
We've been trying to get "remove_reached_destination" to work for a few days now... Was just trying to figure out why it wasn't working for him.Quote:

Not sure what you mean by "is irrelevant for this case". I had to use that option to remove that screen (if he wants to remove the entire screen). I had "automotive=1" in my sys.txt forever (I think it removes the battery icon?), but had to add "remove_reached_destination=1" in order to remove that entire destination screen.

This is it! It Worked!!!!! Thank you so much!!! now when I reach my destination, I get the 'is this your destination question'. If I hit yes, all I get is the summary screen which is perfect! that's all I wanted :bat:Quote:

Irrelevant means not used. That screen depends on DestinationMenuShown and automotive. The variable DestinationMenuShown depended on shutdown_time. The variable remove_reached_destination was not used in the codes anywhere.Quote:
