Default Help to Identify GPS Device

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Hi everyone. Really looking for some help to identify this GPS device that is in my work vehicle.. it's quite old and I thought I would see if I can update it. Please see the above URL for a couple of photos of the device.

When I connect it to my computer, it has a folder called 'IGO9' with other folders inside. I tried to open the Application 'PRIMO.exe' but it won't run on my Windows 10 by the looks of it. When the device boots up, it has an interesting button under the settings called 'Wince', and when I go into it, it boots up into a Windows style desktop layout!?

I guess it must be a multi-purpose device as it has a pen that pulls out from the side.

But anyway, looking for some software for this to install onto my computer to update the GPS maps if possible?

    Many thanks for your time.

It does not matter that it does not have a name.
It is important to know two things: it is based on WinCE, and to find its screen resolution.
Judging by your pictures, it is not bad device at all - 4GB internal memory, 800Mhz CPU, have a BlueTooth.
No, you can not start programs from WinCE in any windows directly. You need [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
Start iGO on device, look in MORE > HELP > ABOUT, you can see what version of iGO software you have.
Usually, you don't need latest version, it is much better that it is reliable and proven. If your version is older, or not cr*cked, then replace it.
On this forum, there is one of best editions

at last pages there are fresh links. Just, first find out what is resolution of your device (I guess it is 800x480)

Find all files you need in proper sections.
    Maps:

read tutorials: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    etc...

    P.S.
I doubt your device have legal software. Only big names uses original - Alpine, Becker, Pioneer, Zenec...and they have name on it
Software for their update is always on their web sites. And it is payed a lot.
Your navi is probably chinese generic, which is not bad at all.
And there is no procedure for installation of new software and maps. You just simply download what you need and put on card/device (read tutorial).

Thanks for the reply. I had a look under the 'About' and it has 9.6.13.405512 July 18th 2014

I'm not too sure on the resolution, i've looked through as many settings as possible and can't determine it at the moment.

Can I ask, what does this 'Wince' actually here for?

It is OK version. Same as I recommended to you. And I am 99.99% sure it is "cured" version
No need to look any further. Just find content you need on forum.
(You only have to replace software if you have some strange problems in using it. This happens because sellers typically put everything of content in devices, and what you need and what you do not need.)
WinCE is operating system. Like Windows for computers, Android/iOS for your mobile, etc...

Now, read You have a lot of material here...
