    Default No Alert Points in iGo Primo

    Hi,
    I have problems displaying Alert Point Settings in iGo Primo.
    When I go to Settings > sounds and warnings > alert point settings
    Alert point warnings, Online Alert Points and Report Alert Points are checked.
    When I tab Alert Types all catagories are activated.
    There are a.o. Railway Crossing, High Accident Zone, Schoolzone etc, they are all set to
    Audio Visual / When Approaching in Alert Point Settings.
    But I never get any warnings or display on the map.
    Speed and traffic cams are displayed ok but the others are not.
    I use iGo Primo 9.6.29.636868 with latest TomTom maps 2017-12
    Do I need another license for that or sys.txt or maybe it does not work with TA maps ?

    You don't have the correct txt with correct type in content/speedcam folder.

    Yes, I suppose so but to be honest, I have no idea what I need.
    Speedcams work fine except all the others.

    i think, you need the Warning-Point as Typ in SpeedcamText.txt

    then you can edit Warnings by SYS.txt:
    ------------------------------------------
    [speedcam_category:6]
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Railroad crossing ahead."
    .........................
    ...........................
    ..............................

    IMO for TTS-pro Drive-Alert you need modify Lang/Voice?

    rider is repeating (twice) that speedcams are working, and other driver alerts are not, but you are forcing discussion to speedcam.txt files.

    Other driver alerts should be in FDA files, and TomTom maps does not have them.

    Could you try with HERE maps which do have FDA files (only for your country) and see if there is any difference?

    Tried that and yes, with HERE maps + FDA files it works.
    But for me HERE maps are not the best. In my region ( round 10 km ) I see more than 12 old situations.
    Roads are old, some roundabouts ( already there for two years )etc, still not on the map, so I prefer TomTom maps, much more recent.

    Anyway, thanx for the tip !

    I suppose I cannot add the FDA HERE files to the TomTom files ?
