Not necessary hardware related. It could be that when the button is pressed a signal (key code) is sent to proggy (that's why I asked if it was original) and it's up to proggy to interpret what to do with it.

i was informed earlier that i had broken many rules of this site, i wanted to apologize for this as i had not taken the time to read those rules in the first place, my bad.

Also i see that we are slowly going to hit a wall with this issue of mine and before that happens i wanted to thank all of you for taking the time to help in finding a solution.

If anything i will come out of this experience much less stupid in the matter.

Don't worry mate, we are also curious about this problem. I wish I have unit to work with (much faster in debugging) but be patient with our investigation, it might takes some time.

Can you identify that code in the link information i sent yesterday? Ideally i'd like to insert a command in the systems exe file to override the condition i have and force it to exit the Navi screen.

    Hello guys !!!
In the web I found this and I hope can help:

    iGo Primo 2.4 Build

    1) If you get some kind of error when exiting Primo (but everything else seems to work OK), try decreasing the number of LICENSES in {Primo2}\license\*.LYC to only what you may actually need.
Many extra license files may have been included to cover as many circumstances as possible, and too many for map and other content that does not actually exist can cause an exit fault.
For instance, if you do not live in a region such as Aus\NZ\RU, you will not need any licenses for that area (as shown in the file name).
A suggestion would be to remove license files only one or two at a time until the shutdown error goes away (but all your content is still valid). If you remove a license and all of a sudden your maps are listed as invalid in Help>About>More>Content, put that file back.

    2) The add-on POI pack for 800x480 resolution appears to have some compatibility issues with Primo 2.4. It is recommended not to use it at this time to avoid errors with POI display.
2a) For those having trouble with the 480x272 POI Pack, try the below link. Replace everything in the ui_igo9 folder on your device with the extracted (unrar on your PC) download. It is a very slightly modified version with some little used POIs removed, and a few added.

    1) I will give this a try this weekend and post back my results
    2) if i change the resolution of the display wont that affect the image format on my device ( like make the display smaller)

Honestly, I don't think the issues brought up by @novello have anything to do with your specific issue... You're not getting an error when exiting Primo and you're not having any POI-related issues. The issue that you are having is more of a "procedural" or an issue related to the specific design and setup of your 2DIN radio...

Just to help visualise what type of device i have, here is a screen shot of the mutli screens i can access, you will see on the radio mode there is a arrow on the top right hand side, i use this to access the screen with multiple icons (Navi, radio, usb, ipod, dvd etc), hope this help.

I'm curious - do you start the Navi app with the "software button" or the physical hardware button? Does it make any difference depending on how your start it? Just wondering if things work any differently depending on how you start it (like maybe if you use the physical Navi button to start it, then the physical Navi button will take you back to the radio functions as well). It's a *long* shot, but.... :-)

Or... Are there any settings in the radio interface settings menu that may make a difference?
