    Default Need help please.

Hi, hope someone have time to help me. I have pioneer PA-681 navigation with android on it, and when i open card there are some folders and one is iGO8, and there are some folders in it like maps. Anyways name of maps are Austria_R3_NQ_2012.Q1_120522.fbl etc, etc. Navigation worked fine until couple days ago, when it start i click navigation and first 2-3 times it just open and close 2-3 sec after, and after couple of times like that i got message the application failed to start last time. do you want to reset to factory defaults and lose all yours pois, tracks and settings? And even if i do nothing change, always same. :/ So i throught i maybe unistall it and put fresh maps on it, but not really sure how to do it, so is there anyone willing to help me i would really appreciate it, i would be happy if maps just worked, they don't need to be newest one, just working, ofc not too much old. :D Thanks.

If it was working before what did you do to get it not to work? Your unit has SD card? If so, proggy and map data might be on it and you might be able to get newer proggy and maps installed. Is this the unit? [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

You need to first backup what's on the SD card. Then look for a Primo version for WinCE 5.0 that supports 800x480 in the iGO software area (like post #4 of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ) Don't format the SD card, just delete everything and unrar it on the card (making sure the directory structure are same as what originally on the SD card*) Rename the 9.6.5.299162.exe to whatever the original .exe was. Get latest lang, map, poi, voice, speedcam for your country and put in appropriate folders.

    * for example, it might be something like:

This is how it look when i open card. I downloaded yesterday Here Q3_2015 from this forum, don't know will work? Sorry for asking too much :D And thanks alot!

Ok i did that and seems everything is fine, when i connect unit to pc now there is new BT folder too. And should i change folder name from 9.6.5.299162 to Primo or that doesn't matter?

What is under the iGO8 directory? Your unit is probably referencing proggy under iGO8, so I would think you need to use iGO8 instead of Primo.

I think you can use Primo, just put it under iGO8 directory and rename .exe to iGO8.exe Your nav unit is executing iGO8/iGO8.exe when it starts so we will "trick" it into launching Primo.

BTW, if you want to know why your original proggy failed, take a look at crash.txt

Hmmm, there might be regular voice for your language at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
But TTS voice might not be possible, look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I'm curious, what's under the BT and 2577 directories?
