I noticed that the fontsize_dec2 parameter does not have a semi-colon after it like all the other parameters (but it didn't in the original). It appears to be when I change the templates.css file it messes it up although I've tried WINZIP and WINRAR (both registered and licensed copies) to edit it. When I click on the skin you provided, WINRAR comes up, I click down until I get to template.css file, open it with notepad, make the changes then save it. Then I copy the modified skin down to the GPS in the CONTENT\SKIN folder. If I view it (via USB to computer) on the GPS, the changes are there and are readable. This one is a bit strange to say the least.
The skin i uploaded for you a few moments a go doesn't require changing i've already done it for you.

Corruption of these files is easy and well known, there's a post about it that covers it in detail somewhere here on igo section of this forum.

Regarding the Dutch language etc. glad you got there in the end with the whole copy or replace thing

And I bet new versions of WINZIP do the same thing. Boy, that makes my head hurt but now I understand why what I did did not work. Thanks for the tip.

**EDIT - My version is WINRAR 5.3 so that's the problem.

By the way, I just figured out to enable the compass on the trip info bar with the regular Decent skin. All that you have to do is enable the "Linear Compass" option in the "Experimental Settings" menu - then the option to put the compass on the trip-info bar is present.

    Just an FYI...

After several 'road' tests, the new skin works perfectly. But I do have a question - where do you get a download of WINRAR that does not corrupt the skin files and you don't get a virus/malware payload with it? I have already downloaded and paid for the latest WINRAR but I'd like to have an earlier version so I could play around with the skins for my own 'education'. Thanks.

Catymag - I had previously found and checked out that thread, but I didn't see a active link for WinRAR. Is one of the other programs used in place of it? BTW, I did find that if I used the zip/rezip in the WIN XP virtual PC running under WIN 7 pro - that seems to work fine. But I'd love to have an option to run it 'native'. Thanks.

**EDIT - Duh, I looked a little closer and found it!
