You can try but do not guarantee to solve
If you have not SpeedCam creates a folder and you place the file Your Country speedcam.txt only speedcam.txt
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Log in to back off and see if a file was created speedcam.spdb

hi, it didnt work. However a speedcamupdate spud file appears to have been created (though crazily it says it was modified with tomorrows date) when i have put the sd card back into the computer. The text file remained as text.
Not sure if it helps but the database version has the reference in the middle of HMEU2014Q1.
Any ideas?
And there is no setting on the actual sat nav to enable speed cams etc.

I can not help the manual states:
The navigation system fitted to your vehicle does not support speed camera alerts.
To update the map, you need the PC or Mac Map Updater downloaded from here:
Code:

Unfortunately that doesnt give ability to add speed cameras.
Does this link to the file structure of the sd card assist?

What sent me is the card structure is similar to Renault...
The navigator you have in your car is not the iGO unlike for example Renault:
Code:
https://renault.naviextras.com/shop/portal/p2howto-guide?guide=Toolbox&live.ui.locale.code=pt_BR
Renault is able to do the update of speedcams license mediate, in your case it is limited to POIs.

Even though there is a speed cam file? Is it not possible to just add the necessary files/POI's into the speed cam file?
-
Good question, we have to see the extent of the files and look for the programs that make the Convert (for POI format) and you can also create a folder in CONTENT.
Userdata
CONTENT/userdata
userdata/poi
userdata/usericon
poi - .kix - .kml - .kns
usericon - (.bmp )

Any thoughts on best place to start researching this? Complete newbie so this is probably going to be a bit of work for me to fathom.
Thanks for everything so far though.
