    Default Speedcam problem

Downloaded both the POIPLAZA and SCDB speedcam files. but seem to be having the same problem with both of them.

Example. Urban UK cameras should be set at 30mph. But the warning is shown as 19mph. So Primo seems to have taken the 30mph as 30kph and converted it back to MPH = 19mph.

Tried deleting save folder, no luck. Cant see anything in sys txt. And yes it is set to miles/feet. So I'm at a loss here.

I'm using Primo 2.4 with fairly recent maps. Also noticed that when I go into the camera settings in Primo that its all in Italian, despite the fact that the rest of my menus are English. Odd.

Check your "Units" setting under Settings->"Regional Settings"

The reason that I wanted to make sure is because you have problem with BOTH files which unlikely mean that the files are at fault. You could extract the the POI and rebuilt with the correct speed conversion.

I'm going to try the files on another unit with Igo8 and see what happens. But I think you might be on the right path that its more likely to be an issue with Primo. It could be an issue with the version of Primo 2.4 that I am using. Worst case is that I have to just put up with it, and be happy that I have some warning.
Sorry osiris, I dont think I would have the know-how or the patience to edit all the camera details. Would not have a clue. But thanks for your reply.

One other question, are you using built-in (default) skin? Post your speedcam files and I will convert speed to correct value for you.

That's interesting, I tried one of the files on my old unit with igo8 and it worked fine. So it may be a Primo or skin problem. I have Primo 2.4 V 9.6,13,319729. (Ssangyong) It came with with two skins, diMka WA P.1.7.1 Tomsoft, which I tried but never liked, so never used. And also GjAk v1.09 P24 Salamander, which is the one I have been using. I am going to try the default setting first and see what happens.
Thanks so much for your offer osiris. I wont post them yet, as it looks like it may not be those that are causing the issue.

Back from holiday and had another play around tonight. Downloaded a copy of Primo 2.4 Honda Civic Reborn from the site. Went over to POIplaza and downloaded UK only speedcam files. And still have the same problem as before. So it looks like it could be an issue with 2.4. I will chuck a post in the speedcam section to see if anyone else has the same problem.
