Thanks Wojpen, you saved my day. I was able to install Primo on a Asus Rog Phone 6 1080x2488 resolution but I had vertical lines on 2d view of the map. Using this line

use_flat3d=1 ; for full HD
the lines are gone and now the map is clean.
I can tell after days of tests that

must stay like that because with highres=1 it covers only 25 percent of the display.

Only with this entry in 2D mode the house numbers will not be visible

Could be but my problems now are not the house numbers but the streets that are not displayed correctly a 100%...still working on it. Works perfectly on the road but still have a display graphic issue. As you can see the beginning of the street is displayed correctly then becomes too thin.

Update: shrinking to 1850x1080 doesn't solve the graphic issue:

Update 2: the problem persists ONLY IN 2D, 3D works perfectly. House numbers works at least in demo, I didn't pay attention yesterday on the road. I'm gonna use it in 3D even if I prefer 2D. At least I have back my BELOVED PRIMO.

It's been 3 days that I work on Primo for Asus Rog Phone 6 so I read a lot of stuff to make it work. Nextgen is a joke program compared to Primo so I prefer trying to solve this problem. DPI is not a solution, I won't change the phone settings every time I need to use the navigation. "Display size" with ADB no thanks, that's even worse. I need to do something in sys just for Primo without interfering with the phone. You presume that everybody is JUST ASKING without trying on his own.... I've installed Primo and Nextgen on at leats 15 different devices without asking help to anybody. My previous answer was for @ssstrelec .

As you have already been told, in sys.txt in the section
[rawdisplay]
driver="gles_2_0_android"
screen_xy="auto"

choose the appropriate dpi for your screen and you will no longer need to, as you write constantly change something, it is done once for this gadget and that's it.

Look these strings work for Nextgen...they have nothing to do with Primo....

Nonsense
You are using 12 years old software on modern device with modern system. Of course, such problems are standard and no adjustment in the sys file will overcome them...
NextGen has many advantages over Primo, but you need to know how to use them.
e.g, Israel or Pal with Pongo akin and TTS are a miracle for truck usage ...

I don't want to argue with you, I have Primo on tablet Samsung Note 8 and is MUCH BETTER than the Nextgen installed on my previous Rog Phone 2. I'm a truck driver and I know what the roads of Europe are. What can I do with Primo in terms of PINs, clients, forbidden routes for hazardous materials, parkings, restaurants etc Nextgen can only dream about.
Rog 2 or 6 don't have the possibility to change DISPLAY SIZE from Settings that's why I don't even consider it from ADB, too complicated in the real life. I can change the DPI from Developer settings but it's a mess with other apps. Another solution I found was to limit from sys the height to 1850 pixels instead of the 2322 that is the real fullscreen but I don't really liked it.

P.S. your package doesn't work on Rog 6 due to screen resolution, I already tried to make it work. Putting together a branding from Rondoan to have Gurjon skin, my Primo 2.4 from Note 8, a data.zip from another user and a lot of adjustments I was able to make it work and the only thing left is that graphic problem.
