Default User Interface Resolution Not Supported

I have a Chinese sat nav system in my VW Golf. I didn't buy the system and bought the car used. I bought iGo 9 but am getting the error "user interface resolution [486x234] is not supported or compatible skin can not be found". Tried messing with the sys.txt file resolution but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
