    Guys, don't know if anyone can help me on this one, but I'm kind of stuck..

    I've got an Alpine NVE-M300P which came with Igo8. After some messing about, I've been able to upgrade it to Igo Primo 2.4.0
    I found out about a lot of settings and have it nearly working perfectly up to one annoying thing.

    In the old software when you switched off ignition the system would 'freeze' and continue where it was when you switched ignition on after a day or two.
    In the new software, the NVE-M300P will reset after a power down. (it seems like 60 seconds, but I believe that's the car which is not powering down the unit straight away.

    I've messed with the sys file but have not been able to find out what's causing this.

    Current settings:
    [interface]
    skin="ui_igo9"
    resolution_dir="400_240"
    show_exit=0
    shutdown_time=0
    exit_on_restart=1

    I've tried without shutdown_time and exit_on_restart which was the same, I've also set exit_on_restart to zero which also resulted in the same behaviour.

    Anybody has any clue as to what I can change to make it work?

    Nope.. didn't work.

    I've also tried digging in to the old data for the unit, but it looks like Igo 8 doesn't need such a setting. It certainly isn't in the sys.txt file.

    This is all what's in the Igo8 file:

    Code:

    I think Primo 2.4 isn't completely compatible with NVE.....
    The original iGO has been customized by NNG for Alpine.

    Try in this way.
    1) Leave in sys.txt these strings :

    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    2) Before turning off Alpine, switch to radio and then turn it off........

    I haven't other ideas (especially since I don't own an Alpine)

    @ BrowneBear - Have you tried deleting the ”save” folder and the device.nng file?

    Try to look into data.zip\project_config\igo8_generic.ini, or whatever the only file there is named.

    There is default configuration data for program, data in sys.txt override that.

    Hi guys here is my problem, probably a problem for many others:

    İ'm using igo primo 2.6.29.468978 on my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Dimka WA aP.1.3.3 default skin.

    How can we get rid of triple blue poi icons when using a branding.zip ?

    i mean i can see a petrol station icon if it's alone, but if there are some other poi icons next to it, it shows tree adjacent blue icons.

    use_multi_poi_icon=0

    this sys.txt line is not working because i guess it was for igo primo 1.1 and 1.2 ... not for 2.x verions. I have searched a lot of forums but no clue... any idea?

    Here is a screenssot, you can see the 3 blue points

    @ djdigy
    Try this -

    Settings - Map settings - Place markers

    See what is the active because it is possible that there are more POI variety of uses in the same place ie. pretty close.
    Turn off some and see what happens.

    Hello friends!
    I would like to share my experience with disappearing voice, using iGO Primo Israel 9.6.29.483387 with Rooted Asus Fonepad ME175CG and Android Lollipop.
    Obviously the problem is with Android Audio Stream System. At some point the voice disappears, and the program needs restart. After days of experimenting finally I did the following:
    1. The sys.txt inserted in the .apk has the following lines:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    3. I installed the program.
    This solution has worked fine with an old .csv voice for two days, but I am afraid this is not the best solution. If someone has an experience with the problem, please share it.
