    WOJPen: I tryied your method....but failed.
    In my DATA.ZIP/UI_igo9/800_480/loading.bmp and DATA.ZIP/UI_igo9/800_480/skin_night/loading.bmp
    (originals, in use)....both files are 348kb (not the 1.09MB)!!
    I replaced them with my custom files 1.09MB....and fail/error/message

    Well, finally I solved the problem.
    Thats`what I discovered: (with Igo Primo 2.4 9.6.13.405512)
    You don't need to change the "loading.bmp" file in the data.zip/ui_igo9/800_400.
    Just put your custom.bmp (calling "loading.bmp") in principal folder of your IGO PRIMO/ui_igo9/800_400 (and in the skin_night subfolder).
    THE PROBLEM IS: some UX utilities load their own "loading.bmp" (for example, "tracking_world_cb_2.4.zip").
    And some skins also load their own "loading.bmp".
    So, I deleted the ux utility and changed the skin....and finally started my "loading.bmp"

    In the SYS.TXT put:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    ---------(this is the route IGO PRIMO/ui_igo9/800_400)

    Regards.

    Hello! Thanks the tips! But I have a little problem! Wojpen's tips is great I create ui_igo9 folders etc...
    Creating loading.bmp rename to loading.jpg and creating exiting.bmp rename to loading.bmp File size 1.09MB OK
    Adding lines to sys.txt I use this.
    [Loading]
    loading_bmp = "loading.jpg"
    show_statustext=0
    show_progressbar=0

    Loading screen working fine, but when I exiting from the program not my exiting screen seen. I see the default exiting screen.
    Any tips how to working with my exiting screen?

    Colleague - everything is ok!
    You see the standard screen - because you have not specified an image to be loaded at the output of the program.
    you have statements
    [loading]
    loading_bmp = "loading.jpg"
    show_statustext = 0
    show_progressbar = 0

    add

    exiting_bmp ="exiting.jpg"

    make a screen called exiting.jpg and put it where loading and will be ok.
    Remember, however, that the level of the screen is loading / exiting _m1 or m3 or m5
    and for the screen is vertical loading / exiting_m2, m4, m6
    (You have to choose for their resolution)

    Why is it not good to extract zip files such as data? What will happen?

    Because proggy expect data.zip to be unextracted. If you need to modify it you have to find a zip proggy that doesn't change the format otherwise it won't work. The safest way is to use WinRar3.93 to modify it (not extract it and rezipped) This is not the only way there are others so you find the best way for you.

    I am a newbie here although I have been using primo 2 for couple years. What is proggy?

    Question. Is there a version of igo primo that has a working equalizer and shows buildings too? And I would also one day like to attempt to change to loading screen iamge

    Proggy is term that is used in software world, short for program.
    And, please, read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] before further posting

    For other question:
    buildings and equalizer have nothing to do with each other. Explain your problem in detail.
    Changing loading picture depends of version that you are using. And your skills related to dealing with computers, not with navigation.

    Thanks. I have tried several different builds. On my original install that came with the head unit even if buildings are on it shows only landmarks or really tall buildings like downtown. In another build it showns relatively short buildings, even my four story aprtment building.

    Then in another build it is possible to enable experimental features which includes equalizer by editing the text file under debug, while in another has no effect. Also I have one that loads two different loading image at times on boot up
