won't take TTS voice
I select TTS voice Street Names Announced but my gps won't accept it.
TTS Pro is greyed out.
Is there any way I can get my gps to announce street names?
I bought this unit on ebay and it does not have a product name but when I start it up it shows IGo Primo

Not necessary the same problem. Same symptom. Your problem has been narrowed down to not correct voice config because you already said that Primo TTS works and outside proggy you're able to get VocalizerEx voice engine working.

What's proggy and how do I find the version? And how can I test to see if my voice engine works?

Finally I fix the problem with TTS voice. I use iGO Gift [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and VocalizerEX TTS from osiris4sis [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] everything work.
The main problem is with in car android unit - DO NOT ASSIGN GPS HARDWARE KEY ON THE HEAD UNIT TO IGO nextgen (Some how it make the TTS stop working).
I assigned the GPS button to an app that I use regularly instead and create shortcut of IGO Nextgen on desktop and start from there. All TTS Pro function is working.
I tested it many times it is the problem with in car GPS.

Yes,working. All voice config include universal unisex voice config.

Ah, now it makes sense. Remember I told you it didn't sound right? It's because the issue has nothing to do with voice setup directly.
What's interesting is the assignment of hardware key works for Primo but not NextGen.Last edited by osiris4isis; 4th March 2018 at 06:03 PM.
