osiris4isis: Your driveralerts.zip file didn't work on my system.
The attached file does work though with a slight exception, some of the on-screen icons have an elongated white box under them crossing the full width of the screen; not sure why.

The next tasks are to;
Fix the white box error
Modify the voice.lang file to give correct warnings
Alter sys.txt so some of the driveralerts just DING whilst some go to TTS
Too bad, I guess your proggy is different from NextGen9.18.27.687519-Gift(26Jan2017)
You might want to contact whoever created the driveralerts.zip that works for you to fixes your problem. Odd that you had to change voice.lang, TTS Pro functions are in TTS voice config file.
osiris4isis: I have dumped the other driveralerts.zip and gone back to yours which seems to be far more stable.
Is it possible to alter sys.txt so some of the driveralerts just DING whilst some go to TTS?
I also want to personalise the TTS eg, "Look out MyDreamer, sharp bend ahead" : Would this be modified in the dictionary.voice file or the ttspro.zip file or the driveralerts.zip file?
Thanks,
Huh? You said my driveralerts.zip didn't work.

osiris4isis: Your driveralerts.zip is producing the following error;
[17:11:40.424 UI.parse error - ] /data/data/com.nng.igo.primong.igoworld/ux/driveralerts.zip/ui_nextgen/common/ui/driveralerts.ui:888:42 : Parser function 'sc_GetwDATest'not supported, enclose in ( ) if you want to create an expression

What is the full version of proggy you're using? It was written and tested for NextGen9.18.27.687519-Gift(26Jan2017), but should work with NextGen9.18.27.693527-World(14Mar2017) and NextGen9.18.27.689739-Basarsoft(10Feb2017)
Igo NextGen Version: iGO_Navigation_9.18.27.682862
You can try the following that should fix the "error" that shouldn't impact the main function of notification because it's for TTS testing only
