everything is activated and the announcement for the current place is ok and translated. Not so the annoucements for waypoints and destination, they are in english like written in weather.zip - lua. This translated in german would be nice.

Hello Mr. Titanic, first of all thank you for the German voices. The translation is also well done. Bravo.
But are there no new basic voices? I mean, the voices of Katja, Katrin, Sophie, Rejine and Anna have been around since igo 8 ...You improved it, but it's still the old voices.
Bad enough that I have had to hear my wife for 30 years .... LOL

This depends on your used TTS engine of your device. You can use all these different men and woman voice files, but they will all sounds the same when you use eg. the default Google TTS engine. No different...

Hello,
I don't know what you have with the TTS, my question has nothing to do with it.
The ladies here from the voice pack have been the same for 10 years, I just wanted to know if there are new or different ...
And with the standard Google TTS engine they have the least to do ...sorry, but this was not the question.
Btw: I have no TTS Voices....i say´d, the Basic-Voices....Last edited by Metallion; 4th August 2020 at 10:36 PM.

The basic voices are made up of 350 ogg audio files, if you are patient you can record those files with your voice so you can have iGO that will also speak with your voice.
With that system you can also transform the new TTS voices into basic voices ...... but there are always 350 files .........gif "beating")

@Metallion: if you looked closely, @Titanic has only edited a single voice file in German for a long time; the Katrin V12 for Nextgen, last updated on 2020-01-01.
Users @Userninenin and @BIRBANTE also clearly explained that navigation display messages and instructions are implemented in (e.g. DE) Voice.
These tones - male or female, high or low - are controlled by the system's TTS engine.
So your question should be: are there other statements (votes) for my TTS engine or is there generally another TTS engine with different votes
!!** and basic voices for iGO Primo Nextgen is default made by NNG - and !_not_! TTS and !_not_! by @Titanic

Who cares about 350 voices that were not asked for? Please read again above, there I asked TITANIC, otherwise no one for German voices ....
