Read carefully instructions!, in my device all TTS Pro voices work fine using Android Basar.

I made Serena for you to use it with Basar application....and TTS Pro menus works fine....

I made this change to not confuse other english voices.

Thank you for the addition. Have a little problem with some voices. Some voices don't read testsound message. Only Allison does. (I shortened the message because it wasn't clear, but wasn't reading it before). Please, check the video.

First of all, my thanks for your post
I have also a problem with the English package voices. I can activate in the menu all the TTS PRO SETTINGS
I have installed the english voices Nuance (daniel, Kate, Oliver) and I have also added to my sys.txt the extra lines you have requested to include in our sys in order to hear the speed cam announcements. I still could not test the TTS voices with the speed cams announcements, but while driving this morning, when you approach an exit where you are suppose to get off, the voice dialogue is not complete, it's cut :( As an example, the voice will say "Turn right in....." It does not mention, as an example "turn right in 50 meters". I could clearly hear that some part of the dialogues was missing.
Since I am quite new at the Forum, I would like to share my experience and ask for your support, maybe some other members have experienced the same problem???
I am not using any skins, I am using the nextgen Basarsoft 9.18.27.627562 as indicated in the initial thread.

I also use the English pack and TTS voices are not working correctly the spoken voice is being cut half way. For example from the TTS Pro menu if I click on the "Read Out Tunnel Length" to test the voice all I get is "the t...."

On WinCE this works correctly and says the following for the same option "The tunnel length is 0.9 miles"

I am also not using any skin just the default skin with nextgen Basarsoft 9.18.27.627562 plus with all the settings in the sys.txt

I think that you have some strange entry in sys.txt and that cause your problem!!!!
My sys.txt is clear, and in sound section have inside only what I have posted in download files....

Does anyone have TTS working on Nextgen Basarsoft 9.18.27.627562 with Android 6.
TTS works with Nextgen Avic on Android 6, but no TTS so far with Basarsoft in Android 6 Marshmellow

It was working at first (somewhat wonky) but now it stopped. More, my app dos not see ANY TTS .zip files in Voice directory. I wonder if the latest osriris's data.zip hack may have something to do with that. Will run a test in a minute ..... no, it is not that.

Something really weird happened to my Basarsoft NextGen after trying to make the latest TTS Pro voices work on my device.

I followed the instructions to the letter .... and iGO stopped seeing all TTS voice .zip files. It can only see simple voices, but anything that is TTS is unseen by the app.

I have uninstalled the app, removed everything, installed again the original pack .... working 100%. Added TTS Pro same issue, removed everything back ..... the issue remains. Only full uninstall, folder removal and fresh install of the original folder (with osirisis's hacks) brings TTS back.

Hmm, weird .....

Anyone with the same issue?

If you see video then in time 5.25 car is going to turn and the announcment has being in 30 m before turn!
So, in this case you can find exit!

I will see it again in road and post soon....

You can use another TTS or Simple Voice....

BTW, English TTS Engine comes from Original Nuance and the type of engine is dri-40!

I will post another engine soon....

For some reason, mine doesn't work well. Will try tweaking it a bit...Thnx
