Probably far too old (Susan?) to work well. I Have not been able to even install it for a couple devices.Quote:

I use Nuance VocalizerEX (Vocalizer_EX_TTS_1.0.2.3L.apk) with Tom as the voice. Too big (400mb+) for me to upload, but you can probably find it.
But I also just downloaded and tried some others direct from Google Play:
SVOX Classic with trial Michael...Works (but will expire in a month or so)
Google TTS with "female US"...Works. And Free.
Ivona with Kendra..Does not work.
Others may work too, but there you have 3 choices recently verified working.
EDIT: I just made a slight modification to the voice file which may make it more compatible with certain Android TTS engines (example: it now works with Ivona/Kendra which is free).
Feel free to try it:

You don't have to see the voice, you have to select tts voice that Mike give you.Quote:

Do you mean 'my' US English voice file work with other semi-non-English voice engine voices?Quote:

No idea. Try it and see. But I doubt the results may be nice.
In general I find Ivona to be the worst with iGo...very slow and laggy.
The problem I have is I don't see the file to select in the voice menu of nextgen. See from the attached pictures I have the voice file in the content/voice but when I am in Nextgen I cannot see the file for selection. Please advise to resolve this issue?
You are using a very old Loquendo voice engine...one that iGo has not officially supported for quite some time.Quote:

They switched to Nuance based voices long ago with the first Primo. Some people took old Loquendo voices and tinkered with them to make them sort of work. Either live with that (and probably never have speedcam alerts and other features) or try one of the voice engines (compatible with Nuance-based voices) that I have already tested and recommended earlier.
Hi Mike,
I have now installed Nuance vocalizer_e.tts_1.0.2.3k.apk with Serena as the voice and I still cannot see the voice to select in the voice menu of nextgen. I still see the voice files as shown in post #166. Any ideas why this is the case
Hello mate,
Btw: if you select the Google tts voice engine in android and then you open the igo app it appear the voice in the igo menu?
