Thanks for the reply but I think it's something to do with the phone itself. But I will definitely consider your response.

I am using the same NG version 687519 on Galaxy S9 Oreo with german "Anna TTS-Pro from @sandor" voice. Everything is working ok. The only problem is that the announcements volume starts quiet and increases within ca. 0,5 sec to the full volume. With S7 and Android 7 the problem was not available. Any idea on this topic? thx

I have the same issue. I toggled the "gradually increase volume" setting in alarm volume under phone settings and that seemed to have worked. My phone updated overnight and the same problem came back. I toggled the "gradually increase volume" but this time it did not fix the problem. Still looking for a solution.

@sandor-Voice is a old Primo-Voice and never good für Nextgen, @Titanic has the best german voice v.12, contact him via PN

Change the number in navigation_audio_stream=4 to 3 for example . I had the same problem and this fixed to me.
