Processor is not a problem in your case, but OS and customization are big
Unfortunately there is no way to test possible solutions, and believe me it's easier to make it use tts than wav. TTS is universal platform for all OS-es, only dll's could be a problem. Maybe.
    But, who knows...worth try...

P.S. Have you checked Hyundai forums?

@Boki_Srb - Yes understand that TTS could be easier but without the files (links broken) I cannot even give it a try.

Yes, I have tried the Hyundai Forums and been checking them for over 12 mths now. Unfortunately no solution there either.

Edit: Have just read your PM, Thanks.

    Edit2:

    Here is what I did:

    1. VAUTOV5.DLL & ve.dll into the root directory
    2. ttspro.zip into the ux directory
    3. tts_nau_v5 folder into the root directory
    4. Added Lang_English-uk.zip & Voice_TTS-nua-eng-uk-m1-lua-dri40-155mrf22.zip into the root\content\voice directory
    5. Deleted Save Directory

Program starts with message "Unsupported voice, please see log." and then quits.

All is from Toyota NG package. Should work without undue complication.

Installed the files from the Toyota NG package and the HU now boots up. However the only two voices that appear in the setup are the 2 NON TTS voices. I would have thought the TTS voices would appear there too. Yes?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Edit: Sounds to me like the TTS Engine is not loading!

There is something you should know. Any valid *.zip files placed under the ux directory will get processed. So renaming it to a different name won't prevent it from being processed. You must change the extension to not .zip (to something like the_skin.zip_) or temporarily (re)move it. Use the ORG files instead of your mod for now.
Also, change the audio file used in sys.txt to !alert2 to use the one from data.zip, don't worry about using your version alert2 for now. This makes it easier to debug any issue. Also make sure
    activated_spoken_type=sound
Only add/change the single speedcam alert in sys.txt that you're testing. Remove any other [speedcam_category:X] entries. This make debugging simpler.

Thanks for the information regarding the zip files, I did not know that but it makes sense.

I have renamed the ORG files with a different extension and using all the stock files now in UX.

Changed SYS.TXT to only have the School Zone warning as I have plenty of Schools around me to test.

However I'm still only getting beeps for the warnings, no WAV sounds. I have my SYS.TXT file below.

    I still do not see
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    Also add
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
If it still doesn't work, let test to see if .wav are playable. Temporarily use this data.zip (when startup it will play !alert6.wav)
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
if you hear a police siren, it mean it worked and you can restore data.zip

I recently noticed is_spoken was incorrect and changed it to is_spoken=0 and still no WAV sounds.

Also added activated_tonal_type="alert" into the category and again no WAV sounds, only beeps.

It should not be this hard to get this to work!

How are you able to test so quick without driving?

I just so happen I had just returned from doing some testing when you posted. While out testing I take my laptop, make changes and drive thru the school zone again. As I said the is_spoken was one of the errors I discovered and tested and I had added activated_tonal_type="alert" also to see if it helped. It is much easier to take a laptop, park the car, make changes and test again rather then returning home, make changes and drive to a school zone to test.
