I found the best driving experience with Sygic and NAVTEQ maps mount. Another recommended is Route 66, a navigator underestimate

Depends, while in my own country driving my small car, Google Maps is just unbeatable.
Abroad while driving my lorry, when my internet traffic is limited in roaming, iGO is the best, I especially love it due to really good junction animations. Sygic moves nicer on my phone and is a nice backup when iGO isn't updated or just doesn't know the place.
As for few years ago when I was using offline gps in my country, Garmin was awesome.
Overall I like iGO nextgen with navteq maps but I think there is no universal tool, we just need to use the proper tool for the situation in which we are.

For me it's iGo for day-to-day use, OsmAnd for hiking and Mapfactor Navigator with OSM maps for travel abroad (eg the GPS black hole that is Japan). So, yeah, 3 favourite apps.

Hands down it's iGo Primo 2.4. Haven't found any other offline GPS apps for WinCE that are even close. You have a little more selection with Android.
I've been a huge iGo fan since iGO 2006! :-)

My first GPS was a mio with win ce and when i try the first Igo Primo I found my co driver. By the way it was has a major mistake in the translation of Greek Language. In the phrase "you have pass the speed limit" you hear in Greek "You are bellow speed limit". But today all theese bugs are fixed. Now I am using it on Android...

I use garmin since 10 years and I think it is the best as it haven't given me any problem, yet very accurate.

NAVIGON all day, everyday. Best route calculation algorithm. Never let me down, when traveling in Europe.
iGO is very good in customization, but sucks in the most important part - finding best route from point A to point B.
Sygic - best UI, browsing the map is super fast and easy, but sucks big time in route calculation.
HERE maps for Android needs more time to polish and needs more features to introduce to be in the same league.
Google Maps - best on-line navigation.
