I have the 3597, it is amazing but gets so hot in the sun because of the metal. The traffic and weather is nice but the traffic is useless in CA as it is always congested.

I agree kitsune. I have many garmin units and prefer my NA purchased 3597 for daily auto use over any others, especially over the crappy Denso nav unit in my Subaru Liberty GT [Legacy to you ]. But never leave it in the sun locked in the car on a sunny day. My very first drive off the plane from LAX was in peak-hour traffic. Set the Garmin for Las Vegas and wondered why it wanted to take me even further south before routing a loop back up to 15 towards the NV border. One look at the LA and surrounds traffic conditions reported by the traffic receiver explained it ...... Jetlagged and driving on the right [wrong for me!] side of the road in a hire car with about half the horses of my usual ride, so thank goodness for the garmin.

My Nuvi 755 t has been great. Surprised by the usefulness of the fm traffic. StreetPilot 2730 is still outstanding, even though the screen is getting hard to see and it has limited map memory. Zumo 396lmt-s is (so far) awful. Rebooted twice on me ~1000 miles from home, forgot tracks for about half of our 4200 mile trip, fights to take its own routes instead of the Basecamp route with dozens of shaping points, actually told me to "leave the road" three times in New Mexico.

I own a nüvi 2595LM (and another nüvi 250W, very old). The 2595LM has been replaced by Garmin under warranty.
But this is not the worst thing... The problem is that it is SLOW if compared with the one I have in my car (normal car, bought in 2013, so old like the GPS) who is a LOT faster!
The Garmin has the advantage that can be used with a computer, you can download data etc. but it is too slow. Current price (2020) is 199 Euro. Not cheap... Still on the market but it is really obsolete, when I drive in big cities it loses the point or make confusion with bridges or elevated roads.

I would like to buy another independente GPS but, now, I do no trust these devices. I think I have to find a way to understand their CPU power, like in the PC, before buy again...

A comparison like the ones you can find for AMD/Intel CPU would be useful.

Garmin DriveSmart™ 50LMT-D. This is super navigation. It does great and the traffic works. Otherwise, I keep the old true 3790, which I update to this day.

Short and sweet. My best point is the bluetooth handsfree that's built into it, my worst is the windscreen mount - it sometimes comes unstuck.
