Ver 6.31 is not official Garmin Version
If it is based on 6.30 then it will work.
If you are afraid then Downgrade to 6.30
Install Acleite pack.
Upgrade back to 6.31
The mod will remain.

Hi, i am try to find help. After flashing JCV and LA works, but in my NUVI'ś 1300 inventory is: "Splash D1340-50 2.00 nuvi narrow+wide, TTS, TRF, LA, I Fail". I did flash many years ago. After that i did flash "nuvi 12xx/13xx/14xx firmware with routes enabled patch". Have you got any idea how does repaire it? Thanks. mkral
Repair What ?
What's the problem Patches are working?
Can you see JCV ? Can you see Lane Assist ? Can you see Routes ?
All Nuvi's sometimes give error in inventory but nothing is wrong !
If you had used picture on start-up at least once - it is absolutely normal what you get the "fail".Quote:

mkral, as said twice above, showing fail is quite normal usually and not a problem in real life usage especially for the splash. The 'Fail' shows only because the checksum has not been properly calculated and if that's corrected it'll show 'Pass' instead but that will change nothing as to the functions controlled by region 16.
If it really bothers you but you don't know how to re-calculate the checksum for the bin file you can do it automatically by opening the bin file in GIR_Editor then re-saving the file without changing anything and flashing it back to rgn 16 [0x10].

Still relevant, revived my garmin nuvi 1200 and 1250 series GPS devices. I never understood why Garmin was witholding features to make a couple more bucks
Hi.
All links to zippyshare are dead in first topic.
Is it possible to re-upload archives with patches etc.?
Regards,
@ustass
At base of post #1 is a link to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] which has all the patches for all 1xxx devices in one universal SD flash pack and a guide for use. Absolute easiest way to do it.
For 1350 can we use the attachment file? I mean from that post

That pack is universal for all 4 US/EU 1xxx HWIDs only. You might have an Asian version so check it's HWID before proceeding if you aren't sure what it is. From initial post:
Don't use the flash pack if your nuvi has a different HWID, it should be either 0972 or 1104.Quote:
How to check which chipset I have? Enter diagnostic menu by pressing battery icon for 5 seconds, press "next", then "start test" and "more". The first 3 entries show which chipset you have:
-regular chipsets in Europe and US: B0971 (for 12xx series) and B0972 (for 13xx/14xx series).
-MTK chipsets: B1104 (for 13xx/14xx series) and B1106 (for 12xx series).
