The first suggestion ;)
In Italy the nuvi 1300 you buy with JV function by default.
Same 1390T (All the EU....may be in the World) ;))

For enable JCV with FW 6.20 you have in the post [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
First when nuvi 1300 come in store, all nuvi have splash D1340-00 and all 1350 have D1340-30.
After 6 month or 1 year came new nuvi 1300 and 1350 with default number D1340-50.
You buy your nuvi long time ago or from old series.
I buy nuvi 1300 when he came out and in that time all nuvi 1300 in the EU and USA have splash number D1340-00, only nuvi 1390 and 1490 have splash D1350-50
We first enable JCV with CHN number D1340-65 and then try with splash from 1490 and found out that D1340-50 work for enable speed, La and JCV ;)
Yes! In general Garmin marketing have next tendency - the greatest feature for the greatest and the most expensive preloaded maps and devices accordingly (full coverage of continent for example). There is logic in it :)Quote:

I bought my 1300 a year ago, it sometimes rebooted until upgrade to FW 6.20. Now life is somewhat boring without reboots, so I've decided trying new features :)Quote:

Hi guys
Got a Nuvi 1250, updated it from WebUpdater to latest SW available (6.20), last nite downloaded the SD autoboot mod for the JCV file.
Ran it, it showed it did something (update.log in the 0971 folder):
nüvi 12xx Series Software Version 6.20, UID: 3xxxxxxx8, HWID: 3xxxxxxx8
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parsing "rrgn,16,1:/garmin/backup/16_BKP.bin"
Success
Parsing "xrgn,16,1:/garmin/1xxx/16.bin"
Success
Parsing "reboot"
but no "junction view" menus appeared.
Can anyone help me?
Nuvi with Europe maps, got 2013.30 on it and it works, downloading (as we speak) D3084070A for JCV file, but no "greyed out" buttons.
What am I missing?
In your nuvi create in folder . System new folder JCV and add inside JCV for 2013,30 maps
If you add JCV in your nuvi this is path: .System/JCV/ jcv file
or for SD:
Garmin/JCV/ jcv file
Create simulation and you will see if jcv work.
On nuvi is no new menu when you enable future, you can see only on route or if you simulate route and clicl on LA arow in uper left corner and in new window you see junction view button, press buton for up and down and when you see white letters for junction view and press you will se JCV picture.
Hi lolypop000
Thanks for your prompt answer
I had actually done everything allrite, I was just expecting some "enable" button after reading earlier posts... I admit, I didn't read all 800+ of them! :-)
I tested it in simu mode and it works great, I'll soon hit the highway and see it there
Question: are junctions shown on highway's only or others are shown too (like roundabouts, national roads, multilanes boulevards in cities etc)?
Thanks for the help, all you guys doing an awesome job!
For now JCV work only on highway's, maybe in future also on other roads ;)
