    My first post - pls. go easy on me.

    I have nuvi 1300. I need the Nuvi to show me the speed limit of the road I am traveling on. I downloaded acleite's file from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and extracted it into the root of an empty sd card. However, I did not get the Nuvi to show the speed limit of the road. What am I doing wrong?

    Details of my Nuvi -
    SW Ver 5.90 S4_R3 V4 2GB
    Boot BLK B1104-00 6.10
    X-Loader B1104-00 6.10
    System B1104-00 5.90
    USA Lifetime Maps

    Thanks in advance.

    Your Boot BLK & X-Loader are showing 6.10 while System is 5.90. Acleite's SD method posted is for units running 6.10 fw. I suspect you have not updated your unit from 5.90 to 6.10 first. You should be able to fix this by flashing standard 6.10 fw from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Your chipset is MTK. Or try running Webupdater.

    The speed limit indicator information is embedded in the map, some maps don't have it. If it still doesn't work, try another map or post again with more into.

    @Neil,

    Thanks for your help. I have now updated firmware to 6.10 using the Webupdater. Still no cheese! It still does not show the speed limit. The only thing I am looking for is :
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Image is for information only, its not my Garmin)

    What information can I provide to determine whether my map has the speed limit data or not?
    My Basemap says F0057-01 5.01 - does this help?

    Thanks again.

    Quick question - do I need to leave Acleite's SD card in all the time?

    No. Take it out. It's done it's job and your 1300 now has all those feature enabled permanently. Future standard fw updates will not require you to flash this again. If you wish to check on the Inventory page, you will see that 'Splash' now reads D1340-50. Normally 1300 reads D1340-00. BTW, hard reset is 'flashing 1.01'. Not always necessary, but best done as a routine. Always back up first before as well.

    Can we enable traffic update so that it will show a diversion if there is traffic.

    Thanks,

    @deepug
    You'll need to buy a traffic Receiver/Subscription to use traffic with your 1300. Depends where you are in the world. US for example:

    Hi,
    I have now bought a new 1340LT CE.
    According to information on the package, that has now Photo Real 3D Junction View. Is this the same like the "normal" junction view?
