If you had problems setting up a virtual SD like I did, (my PC has issues), I used a USB flash drive with the maps again under a Garmin folder, Homeport can load and display them OK. I tested this on a few computers and all of them worked.
Warning: with the latest Basecamp version 4.5.0 it doesnt work anymore.
Still working in the latest Homeport version
Current version Imdisk 2.0.4 built 05 August 2015
ImDisk install package, current stable version 2.0.5 built 09 August 2015
361.9 KB, it works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.Code:http://www.ltr-data.se/files/imdiskinst.exe
Note: No luck with virtual sd and Basecamp 4.5.0 in Win 7
