    1) I make a mistake without H/R before flash with rgn
    2) I forget to disable all of Text., Keyboards ., Voices ., before flashing
    3) I'm using previous US boot.bin (HWID1101 ) that I used to convert US to SG/MY v2.30 (will this caused an issue too ?)

    Then I flash with cure.rgn that you provide during I convert US to SG/MY. After flash, it can continue after "Garmin" logo and shown "load maps" , after "load maps" immediate it turn to another error screen below and only allow to exit and turn off device itself.

    You did not do anything wrong.
    3790US can not use Sg/My 2.50 (so you get rebooting loop ., it's normal)
    Nobody can flash 3790US to 3790Sg/My 2.50 till now.

    For returning

    1). Just flash your nuvi with the last rgn file via updater.exe (rgn file for 3790US to 3790Sg/My 2.30 you used.)
    2). If you don't have that file., so just use original US gupdate.gcd saved to rgn file to flash your nuvi or make a rgn file to be Sg/My2.30 and flash again.

    Gir Mismatch means you use resources.bin in different region from fw_all.bin
    in this case your nuvi have Sg/My fw_all (and you flashed with non Sg/My resources.bin)

    You can return to Sg/My2.30 as I said above.

    Hi, I'm new to here, and I'm in desperate to need some helps if admin can kindly offer me.
    I have a 3790LMT from US and I have very little info regarding it, after surfing through most websites.
    At the moment, I've read through the guide this site offers, and download most software it tells me to, and I'm without luck and somehow got lost in the middle.
    Ok, come back what this thread about, I wanna ask if, from the first place, I can convert 3790LMT to 3790MY/SG just like you do it on 3790T here?

    Default I don't know exactly but you can try.

    For 3790LMT ::
    I guess your device has 1101(HWID)
    Please comfirm this hwid number by pressing battery icon for a while till you get in Inventory page.
    And check your hwid out.

    For hwid 1101 ::
    You can try to use original US boot.bin saved from original US gupdate.gcd swv 2.50 to swv 4.10

    Then combine 3 parts ::

    US boot.bin (HWID1101) + Sg/My2.30 resources.bin + Sg/My2.30 fw_all.bin (replace hwid 1288 to 1101 - same as boot.bin) --> out.rgn

    Please prepare an original rgn file to come back US.
    Using original US gupdate.gcd save to .rgn file.
    If you get rebooting loop so just flash your nuvi with this original rgn file.

    You need RGN_Tool to edit firmware --> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    Updater.exe to flash your modified firmware into Nuvi.
    Download link ::
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    UnRAR then you get updater.exe inside.

    You need Pre-boot mode.

    Do I need to use RGN or GCD?

    Is updater.exe the same as the "web updater" from garmin?

    - You should use RGN.
    - Updater.exe is for .rgn file only.
    - only updater.exe can fix problem when Nuvi get rebooting loop after converting.

    -This is Updater.exe we said in this thread , not webupdater.exe.

    If i decide to update to CHN 2.2, do I need to follow the same steps?

    Also, do I need to H/R before and after flashing? And is it necessary to disable texts, voices, and languagEs before flashing?
