I am using 16gb Sandisk micro SD card on 3790. Lately when I start pushing the limits of card with multiple maps, it start missing some maps without giving any error. After I reduced the number of maps in the card, though the total size is almost similar, it did not miss any.
PS I heard there is 64gb ones in market, I will find one and try it ;)

How many maps do you have on 3790 ?

I've a newly bought nüvi 2440 with 7 maps (.img files) in a Map folder on my Transcend 32GB SD card, still some space left :showoff:
It looks like the file names can be "anything", even space in the name is OK

Garmin nuvi 265 T
Hi,
I've recently bought a Garmin nuvi 265T with North America map preinstalled.
What should I do to load the Europe maps on an SD card?
Thanks

From Garmin FAQ
The Edge 800 can accept up to a 32 GB (gigabyte) microSD High-Capacity (microSDHC) data card. However, depending on the amount of information on the card, it can adversly impact the speed of the device.
Provided your Edge 605 / 705 is up-to-date your device will support a 4GB microSD High-Capacity (microSDHC) data card. To ensure your device is up-to-date, download and run our WebUpdater program.

All "normall" SD & SDHC of any size is supported by Garmin devices. "Abnormall" is type of SD what manufactured by not documental standart specification!

My 3760 works well with 'fake' 8gb Transcend. So far so good. Not recommended though, a bit slow accessing maps.

tried an 8 gig micro sd card on oregon 550 and it seems to be working fine.
setup/camera/save photos to data card option selected resulted in photos going directly to the micro sd card.
however, boot-up time seems to take longer the more photos you store in the sd card.

On my 62s I'm using a Kingston 16gb class 10 and it is working fine. However when I go over 2025 tiles I'm missing some Maps, lower than 2025 is no problem.
