WARNING: There is no certainty that this flash attempt will help and it may even further damage the already crippled flash memory of your device. This is to be understood as the use of a risky and unpredictable procedure, attempting to fix an unusual and complex problem. Using plain words, the worst case is that "the cure may be worse than the disease and could result in the patient's death", at best a miracle may happen, or anything in-between may result including no change at all or a failure to even initiate a flash. If it flashes but the device ends up 'hard-bricked' you must accept that was always a possible outcome.

Usage:
- Insert the microSD containing the Garmin folder into the Oregon.
- Drag modded_boot.rgn onto Updater.exe and select the radio button next to "USB Device" on the GUI.
- Put the Oregon into preboot and connect it to directly your computer (use only REAR USB2 port on a Windows PC, don't use a hub or a front port or a USB3 port).
- When the device details appear in the window next to USB Device on Updater.exe's GUI, click the OK button and if the flash initiates, wait for it to complete.
