    Hello.
If you want to download any lower version of software you may use RGNTool and Updater programs. You will make a firmware file (in rgn format) with RGNTooll, and Updater, in preboot mode, load it into Alpha.
You must to know, after version 5.70, Alpha's firmware blocks the use of unlocked maps.

Additionally, if you don't wish to use WebUpdater for progressive downloads, but still wish to use an GCD file rather than load an RGN in preboot, it can be also done in one step by changing the SW Version of the desired fw to one higher than presently loaded, in your case at least 680. Look at this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for the method to make it. It's demonstrating SWV 510 because that the time V5.00 was the highest.

Are you sure? All recent firmware versions have had weak MSV protection and no GSV protection it seems going by the fw_list from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. This means all maps unlocked with gimunlock+mapsigpatch should work except Unicode maps, see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

    Butters.
I'm absolutely sure that 50% of the maps are not readable, with a regular unblocking. In addition, the user doesn't think what kind of maps he has and what kind of unlocker. Consequently, I wrote about version 5.70, with which everything works. I don't think Davantslot will go into all the details. I think It is easier to give a working solution.
