Default Convert T5 collar to pair with US device

    Hello
I have an unlocked US version of Astro 320 and T5 mini collar. I just bought another T5 collar from EU which my device cannot detect. Can anyone help me how to solve this issue? Is there anyway to change the firmware of EU collar to be detected by US device?
    Thank you!

Default Conver a French collar to pair with US astro

Have the same problem, need to convert a French Collar to connect to a US Astro 320.
I have tried some procedures, that roll back the firmware version, but then I need to roll Back all the other collars that are US too. I need to fix only one French T5_F to T5_US. Is there a way to do that?

The Astro is universal as far as being a receiver of frequencies. Recent firmware 'locks out' unauthorized frequencies when the Astro determines from a GPS signal that it's in a certain country, defaulting to then only receiving those frequencies allowed there. In your case, UK, it should only receive 169.4125, 169.425, 169.4375, 169.45 and 169.4625 MHz. Collars broadcasting any other frequencies are ignored when the device gets a satellite fix and determines it's location as UK. So you can pair any other country's collars but they are then locked out when the sat fix happens. Here's the thing: Downgrading to V3.40 firmware removes the restriction on collar frequencies in Europe generally, but most ppl there were using US DC x0 collars back then and support for the T 5 collar wasn't added until firmware version 3.70 and that was after 3.60 had disabled all unauthorized frequency reception. So downgrading to V3.40 won't help you with T 5, period. Also it doesn't matter whether the collars are US, Greek or whatever using V3.70 or later because it will only recognize UK frequencies not whatever freq is being transmitted by your collars. If you can find a Garmin Product Number on the collars you can know for sure where they originated, e.g. 010-01041-70 is the US P/N for T 5. If they're Greek collars it'll be 010-01041-Cx (where 'x' is a numeral). See the various countries' P/Ns here:
