Hi guys! First of all thank you very much for all the work you put in this thread. I have a nuvi 58 LMT purchased a week ago. I flashed as per your instructions and the result was : flashed successfully. I try to install a Europe map and I get the message: maps are corrupted. I tried to install the same maps on my wife's gps and it worked like a charm. Please help.
Thanks in advance
Hi Catymag, thanks for your answer. The patching went smooth and the updater showed a success message. I deleted gupdate.gcd before flashing.
Thanks for your help
Have you cleared Non Vol?

Hi Neil, I will try and keep you posted. Thanks for your help.
Hi Neil! Thanks a lot man it worked perfectly. In my case: nuvi 58 LMT purchased 2016 Aug HWID 2087, software 440 the file B2087000J.GCD did not worked. The patch was applied with success but the maps were locked. Your patch from post #509 unlocked the gps. Thanks again for your help!!!

I tried to flash Garmin Drive 40 and everything goes ok but it still say Maps are locked.
Unfortunately I came to this thread a little late and I am hoping someone may be able to help.
Just got a GPSMAP 64 and followed my previous route of patching the latest firmware with JNX loader patcher (version 4.50 firmware)
Put my unlocked maps SD card in and get a 'Cant Authenticate Maps. Contact seller for help' message.
Searched the site and found this thread.
Followed the instructions with the universal firmware patcher, copied the new gupdate file to the device and turned on but it isnt updating the firmware from the currently jnx loader patched version.
So, do I have to downgrade the units firmware and start again? Or follow some other path. Many thanks in advance.
You have mixed JNX patcher with firmware patcher.
They are two different programs.
The JNX patcher is here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Remember to remove any gupdate.gcd (patched or non patched) from device before flashing the JNX patched firmware
JNX patcher works fine with patched firmware.
