    Default Upgrade a Garmin 400t

    Hello,

First: I'm sorry for my bad English writing Now my question..

I own a Garmin Oregon 400t and now I was wondering if it is possible to get software or
firmware (for example) a 450t or even 550t on my device. Don't know if this will
work , and of course i know that there will not be a camera on my 400t by upgrading
    it
Does anyone know something about this?

And another question about my oregon 400t: there is by routing a sound (beep) for each
waypoint. Is it possible to make this louder?

    Thanks people!!

What is the difference between 400 and 450? Think it were only a few hardware differences. Better hack maps, make maps, patch jnx etc. like if you had 450 than tormenting your device.

Hi, thanks for you're reaction. Maybe there's not so much difference between de 400 and 450 oregon models. But the
oregon x50 models have more updates then the x00 models and the x50's are ready for "active routing" for the newer
    Garmin topo maps.
But again: I don't know if this is possible and what the results are...

    "active routing"
Yeah, I saw that the newer topo maps have this feature. Trails routing isn't it? Honestly I haven't seen it on practice but I can't see its practical usage. Just one of those useless garmin features. Alright I won't wrote any more over this. Maybe someone else can help you.

    Cheers,
