Do you extract pack with winrar, open folder cure and run updater.exe as administrator?

Any idea why this nuvi reports as 13xx and not 14xx ?
Is this a 5 inch unit ?
Has the OP Scanned his computer for Virus ? Current definition files.
It is webinterface javascript idea from Garmin what it get a device ID from garmindevice.xml and search the data for device in server base after it. May be something is wrong with device ID on Nuvi in garmindevice.xml or Garmin database?Quote:

I ran updater exe with 118301000260.rgn from folder "CURE" that I got from popotnik (actually I've done it) and the result was same. Content of folder "CURE" is similar to the content of folder "ORIGINAL". I cannot see the disk of the Garmin with updater.exe, it kept on updating firmware. At the second time I ran updater.exe, the updater.exe told that Garmin firmware was the same version from firmware that would be updated. How can I see the content of my Garmin, using updater.exe????
updater.exe cannot 'see' the unit's files like Windors Explorer can, i.e. browse and show anything to you. It is an application designed to flash firmware to a Garmin unit. In that respect it can 'read' from the device what's previously been flashed and can report if it's the same version or older. If it sees that the device has older fw it will flash the newer one without comment.
WebUpdater is a different application and as Giomen says checks the Garmin server for info. It should report your unit as a 1460 not a 1350, even though those two ID models do use the same fw.

Could this unit have damaged NV and UnitID is corrupted?
After flashing the "Cure" You should be able to see the device as a USB Flash drive on Windows Explorer.Quote:

Cure Mode does not make the Device Bootable, only allows you access to the filesystem.
Once you have access to the filesystem you can delete files or Format using RMPREPUSB
Original Mode Flashes Original Firmware that maked the device bootable. (final step)

Know well that my question is more or less off-topic to the thread, but would you be so kind to describe how to clear NV using pre-boot mode?
Would be very nice if your short tutorial become a part of Tutorials list.
@ iwanovani
After you run updater.exe inside folder cure and you see " Garmin firmware was the same version from firmware that would be updated" click OK and flash.
After this explorer will see your device, then do like @dasilvarsa write above and when you finish flash with FW inside folder Original.
After this run webupdater and update device.
