Kunix's cure must be loaded to see nuvi's folder with nuvi attached to USB and delete problematic files who prevent nuvi to start. In this case probably a map
If you dont delete it ,cure wont do the trick.

How would I access the garmin folder? It doesn't show up a an external drive.
UPDATE: Spoke too soon. It came up as a drive. I'll try to delete some presumably files, and let you guys know.
Thanks a lot for your help, much appreciated.
Have you loaded a firmware made with kunix's cure application?
Read this thread if you want to understand how it works.

The thing is the file that I loaded was on an SD card that's out now. And also the webupdate.Quote:

I'll look for more recent files though.
Remove gupdate.gcd from your nuvi.
In most case some of this file ar corrupted when nuvi stuck: gupdate.gcd, Text, Voice, Keyboards, .img and GPX folder.
Is it safe to delete the GPX folder?
Make backup of your folder GPX and then delite current.gpx inside folder GPX andalso Archive folder if you have it inside GPX.
Try this step and you will see where is problem:
remove gupdate.gcd
1.) remove img from nuvi ( add in Pc for backup)
2.) remove Text
3.) Remove voice
4.) remove keyboards
For every step you must flesh first cure to have access to mass storage and then when you create some step above flash with cure to see if your nuvi will turn on.
Oddlly when I tried to delete GPX/Archive/ it wouldn't delete. All files deleted accept 315.gpx and even when I delete, when you refresh the folder it comes back with the same date modified, which is a couple months ago. It's a corrupted file but it cannot be read.
