Expensive workaround though. $99.99 US for the DVD plus from $8 to $28 for shipping to a US address, and then another $109.99 US for the LM for Europe CN as a Download or Gift Card plus shipping again for the Gift Card [Trying to buy the DVD and LM together would be a very bad idea i think ;)]. Even more cost when they work out that you're not from the US of course.
We need ask Kunix for explain to bug source!!!
Giomen, if it was a bug, then forget about it. Do you need an explanation like "function at 0x00defa43 overwrites FID at SP-0x30 by calling memcpy with wrong size when TRE header is large enough"? Also searching for small bugs in megabytes of ARM code doesn't entertain me.
Why didn't you just give him that?..... it sounds kosher anyway.
Sounds very convincing :)Quote:

It is very amusingly the people crap one's pants. Sorry but such was the case...
Greetings yall.
What is the status here on the 7 february 2014?
1/ Do we just wait and see if Garmin is going to release a new firmware for Oregon and Montana - and then try it hoping the unlocker method still Works so we can Watch City Navigator maps on our units?
2/ Or avoiding to update the firmware, so the CN maps will continue to Work.
Suggestions?
I think it was just a bug or free maps would have been authenticated.
See kunix's posts 134 and 137 too.
Anyway, we can always go back and flash previous firmware in case.
Wait and see ;)
