Hi people,
Please, are there some fix to have better accuracy for the satelites signals on hacked 37XX/34XX ?
Ex: Before flashed the 34XX firmware I had 3 meters of error range. Now with 34XX firmware I have about 10 and 13 meters error range.

Hi rfb,
The same thing happens with my gps 3760T, I returned back to the original condition and got this error too, as there was no way to recover this additional condition, back again for 34xx, I noticed that this happens every time I turn the gps, long before stabilize the location in which you find yourself, after a few minutes back to correctly measure, still has an error greater than before the change is more acceptable, the error is around 5 to 6 meters, still have not found anything on how to improve it good luck and post any news for us.
IMHO 4/5 mts accuracy is a very good accuracy for a gps and accuracy may depend on many factors (Surrounding conditions ,satellite visibility and multipath:Number of satellites in view, ionospheric conditions etc) - To make [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]you should compare 2 devices put in the same position at the same time and conditions.
Many users complaints about 37xx-->34xx gps accuracy, I havent found significative differencies between the two versions, especially using it on the road driving, nor comparing 34xx ,in the same conditions,to my 1200.
Garmin's web site itself states the following: "Garmin® GPS receivers are accurate to within 10 meters on average."

caty,
thanks for the feedback, I did a test with two gps, one of whom is a model and another converted 3760T 3460LT is a unique, is the fact that there is a delay siginificativo when we turn on the two models, the model was turned on first, the atmospheric conditions were ideally, the GPS was hoped that with the satellite reception full apresaentava error of 18 meters, now I called the 3460LT and after a few seconds, even without being filled with the reception, only two bars, showed error of 8 meters, when the reception status bar was filled showed error between 3 and 5 meters, now converted 37xx model was still improving reception error at this point showed 12 meters after another minute, the accuracy was for between 5 and 6 meters, as I said, already has a good accuracy, conclusion: the fact is that there is this delay in converting the position accuracy, more an observation, made converting a model 3790T and showed the same characteristics of delay in the position measurement.
I'm starting to think this is an 'urban myth'. My 3790 has been switched back and forth to 3490 many times. Presently it's 3490. I've never noticed any difference in accuracy from original. I just did a quick side-by-side with a brand new 3590 and accuracy is the same, varied from 3 to 8m. Quite acceptable to me .

Neil,
already found in other forum the same story in the conversion, however the benefits of conversion are good, believe this is a hardware problem,
Thank you.
You have in satellite window button for clear satellite.
Try and report about accuracy.
I posted satellites page of my 34xx elsewhere in a thread and I repost it here
This is from my window today (inside, outside is raining )
