In my country it's snowing all day, when i look through window i have only 50m visibility.
Turn nuvi on to see what accuracy will i have on this weather.
QUESTION: What is the accuracy of the satellite today :doubt:
ANSWER: When nuvi reached main page, satellites bars were immediatly green and i have 3m accuracy in my room beside window. :jumb:

About all this, do you have this folder in GPS directory in .System ?
rxn. Inside eph,poly and seed folders.

I have in GPS/rxn folder this:
In eph i have 32 eph files and in folder pred also 32 pred files, but i have this also in backup of 3490 before i convert it to 37xx and before i create above procedure.
I found out that rxn_config_data change date and time when you connect nuvi to Pc, but eph and pred files in eph and pred folders have date and time when you have last time satellite signal.
p.s.
In GPS folder i only have this:
rxn and inside: eph folder, pred folder and MSL_Log.txt and rxn_config_data change date.
I don't have poly and seed folders in GPS/rxn or in eph or pred folders.
Because I have the same accuracy problem like some of other forum users, I have marked this Thread for reading. Unfortunately I was quite busy these days traveling with GPS /3790->3490/ so have no chance to read the whole thread. But believe me, during weekend I become mad because of poor satellite reception.
I have tried many things to improve accuracy like hard reset, clear nonvol, changing software version and so on. Accidentally did also just what Caty did and described in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. The result was brilliant and I thought that I have solved the problem, but the miracle with good and immediate GPS accuracy disappears in my case within 20 min. And after 20 min the same old bad accuracy appears again and again.
I want also to mention that I have no directory named rxn.
Can someone share it in order to try what will happen? Copy/paste might work for me.... or most probably not ....

Try this:
In folder .System create new folder with name GPS and in this folder create new folder with name rnx and then in this folder create one folder with name eph and one folder with name pred.
Turn off your nuvi, go outside and whait for satellite lock and then go back to Pc and look if you have some files in eph and pred folder.

I dont have pred folder

Do exacly what you have instructed me.
I have made all directories from Caty's picture and also subdirectory pred to be on safe side. But nothing happen. All new directories are still empty after the several fixes.
Any ideas?

This service is depend of regions seems to be. As I wrote about my first occurrence RXN I did not met this data nor 2xx5, nor 34xx. As soon as I go outside my loved Northern countries I immediately picked up this "infection" in Benelux or France :)Quote:
