in 37xx - mediatek mt3328 (1023-BVDL CQJKR2 revision is different, depending on the revision of the motherboard psb).
in 34xx - NL5500L 1CM00X3 with integrated Bluetooth ( NaviLink™ 6.0 Solution: NL5500)

If you have yes, thanksQuote:

Hi,
So If I understand, the problem with the sensibility in the 37XX transformed in 34XX is the wrong Chipset Firmware?
Like the mediatek mt3328 working with the chipset firmware NL5500L 1CM00X3 ?
Looks me very promisse this.
But the question that can not wait.... Is there a chance to install the correct chipset firmware on 37XX transformed in 34XX ?
EDIT:
I don't know if this helps:

This is what I was hoping for back in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and earlier. My accuracy is acceptable, but hybrid fw consisting of 34xx unit software and 37xx gps fw could maybe solve the problem of users with 15-20m accuracy?Quote:

Yes, I think so.
But is there a way to extract just the interest part of the original 37XX firmware? From the GCD or RGN file?

Hopefully, the ppl such as Loly et al with 'Navigation Software Expert' after their nicks will find a solution either doing exactly that, or something else. I have a strong feeling that we are experiencing 'Swan on Pond' syndrome at present. Apparently not much happening on the surface, but going like the clappers underneath!
Beyond my limited talents to help, other than testing if asked. ;))
I saw a both modification of original 34xx, 35xx with different version of GPS for Texas Instrument and MTK. In Nuvi37xx it is too but I do not remember how many. Also the first sign for MTK chipset is next files in filesystem:Quote:

In SW source code there are also references to both module: NL5500 and MT3328 (search for unicode string us usually)...
For interesting we may have the next PCB modifications:
Last Nuvi 2xx5 is much steeper than the 3ххх - it have 16 GB on board :)
I have something from each line :)
