What Webupdater says if you run it? It should download all the needed files to start nuvi.
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    Say yes to additional files.

I backed up, and deleted all files from the nuvi, then ran webupdater. There were some updates, and some text and voice files that it installed successfully.
It still hangs on the warning screen.

Another tidbit of info. Currently it is flashed with a 0754 HWID FW, and Im not sure what it was before I lost it all.
the file fs_image.ver is older, and inside says "006-D0854-02"

Does that mean the correct HWID was 0854?

Then I created an ORIGINAL 2.90 FW, and used Updater again. It boots up now! But gets stuck on the "Do not attempt to enter route info" warning. It just beeps on the "Agree" button.

I'll fiddle a bit more and report back soon
Do you still have this GUPDATE.gcd that you remove from nuvi?

add SD in nuvi and turn nuvi on, when process is over your nuvi will rebot and start and probably hang on warning screen

Add SD in Pc and send me all bin files that you will find on SD or upload here.
I will compare with my bin files that i have from nuvi 7xx.

I dont think this is doing anything. This did not create any additional files on the SD.

If you add this gupdate.gcd on your nuvi then was wrong if gupdate come with nuvi then was corect gcd.
Every time when you repair nuvi or when you have nuvi first time in hand, create complet backup.

Upload your file that you flash your nuvi and stuck on warning screen.
I will create something different with this file and we can then try scan from SD.

    Her you go:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Extract rar on desctop (you will have another rar and folder for flash)

Extract rar on SD card and add SD in nuvi

Now go in preboot and flash with folder for flash

Whait that nuvi after flash go to Warning screen and then look on SD and you will have bin files on SD and upload it here.

Extracted to SD card, and flashed with that very small firmware file you sent. It seemed to take the FW, but still no bin files being created on SD.
