    I do not have SD card inserted. Anyway, thank you catymag! I also think we need kunix or Alexander2010, hope they can help me to recover this bricked device.

    I don't think it is hardware problem, this device only doesn't boot after I made firmware update. probably because low battery power during update cause crash even I keep it connect to PC via attached USB cable (try to keep power). As Catymag said "Nuvi at restart loading updates need a charged battery, so never update with a poor battery"

    Your Nuvi is sadly dead, no bootloader, may be someone here can try to find a way to revive it, but it's hard.

    Hardware problems often come through the software door. I think it is known any user on this forum who have more 20 posts!
