Yes, most probably you can't do it. Unless some other dumping command is found. But this is not likely to happen.

No it doesn't, as boot.bin's rrgn functionality has nothing to do with what you've just listed.Quote:

But clear non vol and hard reset are much weaker than restoring backups with rrgn/xrgn sequence.
I wonder if older versions of boot.bin for this device would support rrgn ?

What I do hate in Garmin is that their firmwares can't be downloaded in a unified way.Code:like http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=xxxx
