Thanks Caty & Loly, I guess hard reset will have to do then.
I'm not seeing software loading, so I want to make sure I am doing the procedure correctly.
With the RGN tool, I open the gupdate.gcd located in .system on 3750. Am I supposed to create and RGN with all 3 sections (boot.bin, fw_all.bin, fw1_resources.bin), or just boot.bin as I understood from instructions?
Just boot.bin and rename to Ldr.bin
Ok, I think I got it. Is there a way to confirm everything was sucessful?
At the end check in Garmin\Updater\xxxx\update.log if you have :Parsing "rrgn,41,1:/41_backup.bin"Success
and naturally the 41_backup.bin in sd
I have last_id.bin instead of 41_backup.bin
But it does says success in the log
@Greengame
In sd root you should now have 41_backup.bin along with the Garmin folder.
In Garmin\Updater\xxxx along with Ldr.bin & update.txt you should now also have last_id.bin and update.log, showing:
nüvi xx Software Version x.xx, UID: xxxxxxxxxx, HWID: xxxxxxxxxx
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parsing "rrgn,41,1:/41_backup.bin"
Success
final result ;)

Hi!
I have a question:
where is boot logo located?
I have 3760 BWM edition with BMW start logo instead of Garmin logo.
I created a Backup of area 41 with BMW logo.
Then i converted it to 34xx with 710 firmware & BMW logo went away.
I need to restore this logo (if possible) & want to know how?
Restoring original area 41 doesnt restore the BMW logo................
Use rgn_tool to extract boot.bin from your original firmware (gupdate.gcd) if you have a sw backup.

You must create one for 34xx coz 37xx one is different.
