I'm not trying to deal with 590 files. I was testing other bin files and found the cause of the problem.
I think it's an operating system issue or a Windows patch issue. I tested on 3 computers. The result is the same. Keep trying to find the cause of the problem.

Disable defender (or what AVP you are using) before any operation (even before downloading .bin files ...)
You have a problem with the PC's setup, not the GPS related stuff.

@hothort
That's good advice above, particularly if you've already done what i suggested in Post #170: "Perhaps you have a problem with GIR_Editor itself so to eliminate that possibility you should re-download it....". Clearly the fact you've had no success opening multiple BIN files points to either a software or OS propblen.
In brief, if you've ruled out GIR_Editor itself as the problem then indeed it is a PC issue. If your AV is not interfering with running the stand-alone program which you can easily test by temporarily disabling protection while also disabling internet connection, then consider if other resources on the PC needed by GIR_Editor are not available to it or already in use - even though that's very unlikely to happen on three different PCs.
Regardless, PC or related program issues aren't what we try to solve in this forum. Good luck.

Hello friends!
Please help me find and download the splash screen of the Garmin 296 navigator.
Edit:
If you have a Garmin 296, you can download the splash screen from it using the Ximage 2.3 program from the official Garmin website.
Thank you!
