Can we downgrade the software by reinstalling lower version. Because I found that firmware 7.20, its exit roads info is occupying display screen about 40%(JCV photo area) even route is not selected. It is annoying to make visible map to be smaller. Thanks.

You can downgrade the fw on any nuvi. If it doesn't load by running the older *.exe, do this: Unpack the .exe file. In the folder named like 25xx you'll find a folder '.System'. In it is GUPDATE.GCD. Copy that to your unit's '.System' folder overwriting any current file [back it up first along with your favourites and any other user data]]. When you reboot your nuvi you will see the message 'The software on the device is newer than the software you are attempting to install....blah blah'.
