In the meantime if you ever have an idea why even though I extracted the zip containing the 41.bin, update.txt and so on.. on my SD card's root, it doesn't load/restore it when I boot my gps?

The Folder structure is as such
G:\Garmin\updater\xxxx\ldr.bin
G:\Garmin\updater\xxxx\update.txt
Make sure that last_id.bin and update.log are not present and that 41.bin is in the correct place according to update.txt
xxxx is your garmin model id example 3490 = 1376
I send him tutorial with pack and all is in right place ;)
Will see if this pack will work, maybe last time he post reg41 created after he flash reg 140, now he send me reg41 created before he change reg140 ;)
I don't know why it's better not to use the EcoRoute HD but the Standard works pretty fine. Wonder what's the difference between them.
For EcoRoute HD you must have this device :

Hey everyone, I just got an European Garmin nuvi 3597LMTHD and I've been wondering, if it's possible to enable the Video Playback feature on it. I've followed lolypop000's steps, but got stuck right at the start. I've extracted the 'For backup region 140.rar' folder onto an empty SD card and then inserted it into my nuvi, but it didn't work. The device started as usual, without any reboots. So after reading through this thread, I thought maybe I have to rename the Garmin/Update/1258 folder, so I changed it to 1101. Now, when I fired up the nuvi, it did reboot, but after opening the SD card, I haven't found any reg_140.bin files. Did this ever happen to anyone, if so, what's the solution?
David
In Europe 3597 only LMT, without HD. With digital traffic it must be 3598LMTDQuote:

359x have different software then 37xx/34xx and i think this method to enable some features doesn't work on it.
Right, sorry, my bad, I just copied the name off the website, because I couldn't remember it. Now, that I checked the back of the nuvi, it says 3597LMT.

1101 is HWID of nuvi 3790 and for 3597 is 1258.
You can't enable video on nuvi 3597
Alright, that sums it up quite well, thanks.Quote:

Edit: Is there a reason for it not being possible?
