If the procedure has been done before it is also necessary to delete last_id.bin and update.log before running again. (I'm not sure if the spelling of the filenames is correct!!!)
If these files are found then the process will not run again.
sure ,point one of instructions is : Create a "Garmin" folder in an empty sd.
ok im bucking up with "rrgn,140,1:/140_backup.bin
reboot" and i se a green line and 2 cm down a big white symbol like a batery , how many time aprox do i have to wait because its 5 minutes or more ! " tnx
symbol with battery is normal, it's loading files in the sd
Its has been 1 hour and did not finish ,maybe is because i have 2gb and its need more , i dont think so. or incompatible memory ?
I power off ,and its power on ok , i will try again.
@atreio
Because you wrote the wrong command. I guess.
It's not up to 2GB of memory.
You can make a mistake with dumping but not for writing.
I did it step by step i dont know what im doing wrong; In a clean SD " i saved boot.bin from nuvi34xx_GCDFile__710.gcd and renamed as ldr.bin and put it in /Garmin/Updater/1378 with update.txt with ''rrgn,140,1:/140_backup.bin
reboot'' inside.
Its easy but it doesnt work for me.
As far as I remember right folder for ldr.bin is /Garmin/Updater/1376
It's because 34xx HWID is 1376 not 1378.
Sorry, 1376 also did not work
