Default The easier way to recover your nuvi3760 firmware. | When WebUpdater doesn't detect the device

    Hi to all.

Webupdater or your computer don't detect your Garmin nuvi3760 and the USB disk doesn't appear in your desktop anymore?

After trying with no success all the solutions mentioned in this forum I found "my" solution. LOW LEVEL FORMAT!
The trick ( the ONLY solution to my problem ) was to Low Level formatting the device using the software for Windows called: Hard Disk Low Level Format tool - HDDLLFsetup.4.25

So This is what I did:

    1 - Downloaded a new firmware for my nuvi3760 ( nuvi37xx_GCDFile__470.gcd )

2 - Downloaded the software GarminCure and created a CURE version of the "nuvi37xx_GCDFile__470.gcd" firmware.
A CURE version of the firmware allows the computer to detect your device as USB disk.

3 - Flashed my nuvi3760 with the CURE firmware "nuvi37xx_GCDFile__470.gcd" starting the device in PRE--BOOT system and using the tool "Garmin UPDATER" for flashing it.

Ok now my computer detected the device so my nuvi3760 USB disk appears in my desktop.

4 - Now I can format the USB disk using the "Hard Disk Low Level Format tool". After that I formatted once again the device with windows using FAT32 and labeling the device "GARMIN" ( Do't use quick format ).

5 - Time to flash my device with the original "nuvi37xx_GCDFile__470.gcd" ( not CURE ) firmware that I downloaded before. For doing this I used once again the "GarminCure" software using the option "ORIGINAL" and flashed the device using "Garmin UPDATER".

    6 - Restarted my nuvi3760 and...WOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW Working!

Thank you everybody for the precious informations that I found in this forum. Without you guys I never would fix my GPS.

    A.
