updated my 3790EU to 3490 - no problems with update process. It show me that model is still 3790 - but acts and updates as 34xx.

But... i also have "jumping car" effect! In simulation!!!! (and in real world too)
especially when i zoom in to max zoom - car jumping forth - back all the time when moving!
And when destination is reached- car sometimes jumped to next street (in simulation mode!).
When i zoom out a little - car jumping stops, but i can see that map draw "jumping" a little - no smooth movement as with original FW.

I remember, that in GPS modules there is option to average GPS signal - so position not jumping all the time. in car GPS, as i know ,that option is turned on by default + when movement is less than 5 km/h - position marker don`t move (or something like that - maybe i`m wrong).

    Maybe problem is there???
But car jumping in simulation mode - thats strange.....

    PCB Part number: 105-01652-00

Forgot to mention that in original post...

Don`t wana go back to original FW - but if that "jumping" will not be fixed... well...

Another jumping car on PCB ver. 8. Seems like on PCB ver. 8 it's not possible to get fully functional transformation 37xx->34xx.

Just as an FYI, I converted two 3760's into 3490's and neither of them had the "jumping car" syndrom. One was PCB version 4 (with 4 GB of memory) and the other was PCB version 11 (with 2 GB of memory). I also have an original 3490 and it came with PCB version 11 (and 8 GB of memory).
